Gerard Childers holds Team Falcons future

Written by Team Falcon at 09:24 25/8-2013

Team Falcon owner Reece Smith today claimed the future of the team lies with 24 year old Englishman Gerard Childers. The team is currently made up of mainly old riders on the back end of their careers, with current captain Clarence Caraway aged 34 and certainly not getting any younger. Although the team has enjoyed much success this year with the Barbados star taking numerous wins and podiums, but Smith feels its time to look to the future.

"Gerard has show he has a lot of potential, he can become an incredible TT-er for the team and I believe his climbing and downhill skills can improve to a good level. At the relatively young age of 25 I'm hoping he can continue to develop for the team and become a new captain of the future for the lads as we try and revitalise an aging squad."
